I’m going to be attending a “Sell And Rent Back” Convention in June. For those of you that haven’t heard of this industry before here’s a quick guide:
If you have been paying your mortgage for even a short period you will have built up a large amount of equity in your house.
This equity may be quite a considerable amount, and could come in very useful should you ever need a large some of money.
You may find it would make more sense to release the capitol in your house for use as a business investment, rather than taking out a loan.
Or perhaps you need the money to pay off already existing debts.
A company that specialise in the Sell And Rent Back industry – such as www.sellandrentbackhouse.co.uk will be able to help you find out if this could work for you.

We are considering putting on a Waste Management / Skip Hire Convention. We would welcome input from relevant partiesI live in a town blighted by litter and flytipping. After speaking to the skip hire guys who dropped off a Skip on friday apparently it is really important to use a skip hire firm that has good credentials / reputation, and not just go for whoever is cheapest. Who knows what unlicensed skip hire firms might do with your waste, and as someone who would want as much as possible to be recycled – I would rather pay a little bit more to be sure it will disposed of properly.

The yearly Madrid Wine convention is just around the corner so thought I would post an interesting wine titbit I found!
Nicole Kidman was at the heart of a little controversy yesterday, after she was accussed by a gossip column of drinking white wine whilst pregnant – backstage at the Oscars.
Her publicist later contacted a loose tongued celebrity blogger to set the record straight, insisting she had in fact drank water and lemon zinger tea.
He backed this up with: ‘I know, I was there with her, I cannot remember the last time that Cindy Adams got anything right.’ Closely followed with a healthy dose of: ‘She’s an idiot, and you can quote me.’
Storm in a wine glass?

Repossession Convention Next Year, a hot topic at the moment…
**
House Repossession
Predictions for 2008 all point towards a continued sharp increase in mortgage repossessions.
Calls to Housing Charity Shelter recieved 8 times as many calls in 2007 as in 2006, and there are no signs of a slowdown.
The Council of Mortgage Lenders in the UK predicts to see annual house repossessions to increase from 30,000 to 45,000 in 2008. Though this is still well below the 75,000 in 1991.
For many people there is however an escape route.
In certain situations companies like Houses For Cash UK can buy your home and rent it back to you, allowing you to repay your debts and mortgage, and even claim housing benefit to pay your rent if you are unemployed.
Another reminder that we are thinking of having a Skip Hire convention this year or next, and that we are looking for interested parties and suggestions.**Have found a great article on Birmingham Skip Hire.Reveals some interesting facts (don’t laugh you will be surprised!!) about Skip Hire In Birmingham…. such as:Skip Hire permits in Birmingham are Free! This will save you as much as £120!For more info on Skip Hire in Birmingham , including recommended sites….Click here: Skip Hire In Birmingham
