I was reading an article about house-swapping yesterday and it got me thinking about potentially swapping my house in Madrid for a house in France. I love France, the wine and the food and it struck me as a cheap way to have a holiday.
Then I realised I didn’t want strange people traipsing round my house and using my towels. However the yen for a break in France hasn’t left me and coincidentally there was a convention in Madrid about French holiday homes. I went along and decided to find a house to rent in france.
