Useful in a variety of different ways, barbed wire doesn’t always get the credit it deserves. It usually just sits there all day, looking dangerous and without a care in the world, usually guarding something or forming the front line in a battle to a space. Put simply, barbed wire is scary and at the same time, pretty ugly. It is not only the shear sharpness of your average barbed blade, but the coiled effect that provides that barrier between the modern world, and anything that wishes to pass.

Barbed wire is, without doubt, a great tool for not just protecting your property, but saying “hello, I am serious about what I am”. I look frightening and I am about to attack you if you come near. Slightly like an escaped jailbird but without the life experience. We all know barbs can be dangerous things and I am not talking about my 19 stone, tracksuit wearing sister-in-law.
